Straight answers

Fourteen questions, answered plainly.

What does the $99 diagnostic cover?

The trip anywhere within 30 minutes of the shop, a hands-on diagnosis with a meter, and one written number for the fix. Approve the repair and the $99 is inside it. Decline, and $99 is the whole bill.

Do you charge more for Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna or Star?

No. One price card for the whole area. No distance, gate or Saturday surcharge.

How soon can you come?

A warm refrigerator gets a same-day window whenever we can make one; everything else is same-week, often next day. West Boise, Meridian, Garden City and Eagle are the shortest drives of our day.

Can you quote a repair over the phone?

No — all pricing comes after the diagnostic, in writing. We can tell you whether the symptom sounds routine or serious, but the exact number needs a technician in front of the machine with a meter.

My garage freezer stopped in the cold — is it broken?

Maybe not. When a garage drops below about 40°F, an ordinary refrigerator or freezer thinks the box is cold enough and stops running, and the freezer side thaws. We can tell you at the diagnostic whether it is the cold, a failed part, or both — and what actually fixes it.

Is hard water really behind my dishwasher problems?

Very often. Treasure Valley water leaves scale on the heating element, the spray arms and the inlet valve, and a softener that ran out of salt shows up in the dishwasher first. We meter the parts and tell you plainly what scale did and what did not.

I rent — do you need my landlord?

Only for the approval. You host the visit, the technician texts the owner the photo and the written number, and the owner approves. The invoice and the warranty go to the owner by email.

Can you work around a shift at Micron, St. Luke’s or the airport?

Yes. Early morning and late-day windows on weekdays, plus Saturdays. Tell us the window that works and we text before we arrive.

What do you repair?

Washers, dryers, refrigerators and freezers, stoves, ranges, ovens and cooktops, dishwashers, and the ice makers built into refrigerators. Not microwaves, wine coolers, standalone ice machines, water softeners or commercial equipment.

Which brands?

Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Bosch, Electrolux, Kenmore, Amana, Speed Queen — and the built-in lines in Eagle, the North End and Harris Ranch: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Miele, JennAir, Dacor.

What if the job takes two visits?

We come back and finish with no second trip fee. The number you approved does not change.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes — a written warranty with every completed repair. Same fault inside the window, the return visit is on us.

Will you tell me if it is not worth fixing?

Yes, at the diagnostic. We do not sell appliances, so there is no incentive to push a replacement — and no incentive to sell a repair on a machine that is done. $99 is the whole bill and you keep the answer.

How do I pay?

Card, cash or check when the job is complete. Nothing up front, nothing for a phone conversation. Landlords and managers can be invoiced by email.

Broken today? Fixed today, most of the time.

One call starts it: $99 diagnostic, one written number, repair from the truck, written warranty.
