The road to Middleton is the road to Star, continued. North on Five Mile Rd to State St, west on SH-44 through Eagle and Star, across the Canyon County line, and on until the highway becomes Main St through the middle of town. Middleton Rd runs north and south through it, Cemetery Rd and Emmett Rd head out to the acreage, and the newer subdivisions have filled in the fields between the highway and the Boise River to the south. Middleton is a farm town that grew a ring of subdivisions after 2005 and kept its acreage.
